My wife Barbara and I have two adult children, and three grandchildren. I am a retired firefighter of 29½ years from Windsor Fire and Rescue Services.
I served 20 years as a firefighter, 7 years as a Fire Prevention Officer, and retired as the Assistant Chief Fire Prevention Officer in December 2008. As well, I served on the Critical Stress Management Team for a total of 3 years.
During my career as a firefighter I wore a second hat. I have been an Ordained Minister for about 6 years. I have worked in the ministry for 12 years. I am trained in pastoral ministry, counseling, pastoral care and am registered at the hospitals for visitations in pastoral care.
For the past 3 years I have been blessed to serve in the position of Assistant Pastor at the Agape Fellowship Centre (non-denominational).
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as your Chaplain. It has been in my heart for a long time to serve in this ministry, knowing first hand the stresses and difficulties firefighters face every day.
