In addition to the Fire Fighting Division housed at Headquarters, the Emergency Communications Centre is operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Administration, Public Education, and Fire Prevention Divisions also operate out of this location during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

In 2009, Station #1 was Windsor's busiest fire station responding to 1,834 calls.
