2004 Firefest - Windsor Fire & Rescue Service has participated in the Combat Challenge competition for a number of years. Here are some photos from the 2004 FireFest competition.

2007 Firefest - 2007 Brought a warm clear day and heated competition. Browse through these photos to capture a sense of the intense competition.
Apparatus Division - They say "an army moves on its stomach" but the Windsor Fire & Rescue Service relies upon its Apparatus Division to provide well-maintained equipment to perfrom their jobs safely and efficiently.
Bygone Days - Sometimes it just a lot of fun to look back and remember the "good old days". These photos provide a glimpse of some of the early days.
Communications - Communications have come a long way since the early days of announcing a fire by ringing a large bell. Today's computerized equipment enables our dispatchers to give directions, provide information about dangers and hazards and communicate with our neighbouring services.
Community - We're in the service business and our cients consist of our entire Community. We enjoy interacting with our Community and participate in a number of activities and events throughout the year.
Fire & Rescue - The Fire & Rescue Division is the "heart and soul" of the fire service. They often provide the first line of defence when we need assistance with fires, disasters or medical emergencies and they always come through.
Fire Trucks - Nearly everyone feels a sense of excitement when they hear the sirens and feel the rumble of the pavement as a fire engine passes by. It means the local heros are on their way to help someone in need. We have a wonderful selection of photos of our apparatus both old and new. Enjoy!
