    EZDRY and TrueTimber Food Dehydrators

    Product description

    This recall involves EZDRY (model EVM50W) and TrueTimber Food Dehydrators (model TTEVM50W). Both models have 5 trays and are white in colour. The “True Timber” logo appears on the lower left of the unit for model TTEVM50W and the “EZDRY by Excaliber” logo appears on the lower left of the unit for model EVM50W.

    The labels on the bottom of the units have the following information:

    Hazard identified

    The EZDRY and TrueTimber food dehydrators can overheat and melt, posing a fire and burn hazard.

    As of March 25, 2019, the company has received 6 reports in Canada involving the units overheating and melting, including 4 reports of minor burns to hands and feet.
