    Geonaute and Kalenji OnNight 410 head lamps

     

    Product description

    This recall involves OnNight 410 running head lamps. The lamps are available in two colours: black and orange or black and green.

    Hazard identified

    The battery can overheat during charging, posing a risk of fire and burns to consumers.

    As of October 4, 2019, Decathlon Canada Inc. has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

     

    Number sold

    Approximately 63 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

     

    Time period sold

    The affected products were sold from April 2018 to September 2019.

     

    What you should do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return the product to the nearest Decathlon store for a refund.

    For more information, consumer can contact Decathlon Canada Inc. by telephone at 1-844-533-3322, Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., by email or by visiting the company’s website.

    Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.

    Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
