    Pelican 3315R-RA Flashlight

    Pelican 3315R and 3315R-RA (Right Angle) Flashlights

     

    Product description

    he Pelican 3315R and 3315R-RA (Right Angle) Flashlights are powered by a special lithium rechargeable battery. The units feature a full-time battery level indicator integrated into the switch. The ergonomic polymer body is engineered with a sure-grip texture and includes a lanyard.

    Hazard identified

    The Pelican 3315R and 3315R-RA (Right Angle) Flashlights battery packs may overheat, melt or catch fire.

    As of December 6, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

     

    Number sold

    Approximately 89 units of the 3315R flashlights and 3315R-RA flashlights were sold in Canada.

     

    Time period sold

    The affected products were sold from January 1, 2016 to October 30, 2019.

     

    What you should do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the affected products and contact Pelican to arrange for the return and replacement of the battery pack.

    For more information, consumers may contact Pelican Products Inc. by telephone at 1-866 273-5422 or 1-780-481-6076 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST, Monday through Friday, by e-mail, or by visiting the firm’s website.

    Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.

    Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
