The Zekelman Safety Village is a not-for-profit community organization that is the recognized leader in providing safety and injury-prevention education programs to residents of Windsor-Essex. Annually, the Zekelman Safety Village provides onsite safety education programs to as many as 10,000 elementary school children, and our numbers are growing.
Through our Safe Schools Program, Windsor Fire & Rescue Services has been a proud, long-standing partner at the Zekelman Safety Village to provide students with engaging, age-appropriate fire and life safety education. This partnership brings real-world expertise into the classroom, helping children learn essential safety skills, understand the role of firefighters, and build confidence in knowing what to do in an emergency.
