Windsor Fire and Rescue Services is once again offering an in person fire safety program that assists building owners and property managers with understanding and meeting their responsibilities with respect to the Fire Code and Fire and Life Safety in the properties under their care.

This program is designed to address the responsibilities for Property Managers, Building Owners and others tasked with Fire Safety within High/Mid Rise Buildings, and will be hosting seminars this fall, the first sessions of which are as follows:

  • Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

 The seminars will be hosted at The Safety Village, located at 7911 Forest Glade Drive in Windsor.  Registration fee is $50 per participant, plus HST.

The presentations will include: why Ontario Fire Code awareness and emergency response training is mandated and required by the Ontario Fire Code for owners and designated supervisory staff, and why it is strongly encouraged for tenants.

  • Fire safety for residents
